this evil is good ...

How come evil is good ? This is true with evilwm, a minimalist window manager that does what it\'s claimed to do - manage window. I\'ve been using various window managers available such as windowmaker, fvwm, blackbox etc. No need to mention the popular desktop environment KDE and GNOME. Windowmaker have been my favourite for a while before sticking to fvwm. But all these doesn\'t give a true satisfaction to me. Then I found evilwm. It doesn\'t have fancy icon, window decoration, desktop menu, panel etc. What it does just draw a window for each X application you lunch with only 1 pixel border. Most operation is done through a few keyboard shortcuts. It also support virtual desktop, which is what I want from every window manager. Using it for a while, I found that I could work faster than in other window managers. No need to configure any menu or desktop themes. Fire up terminal and type your command. By setting several terminal and system monitor on one desktop, web browser on another desktop in full screen I could maximize the screen usage. Transparent Eterm and gkrellm have been compulsory on my desktop. Simple setting in .xinitrc could give all terminal (Eterm) ready in place, in case of machine reboot or X shutdown. For those who\'s still looking for their ideal wm may give it a try. I\'ve found mine ... :)
