There are a lot of great freeware programs out there. Many are as good or even better than their commercial alternatives.
This is my personal selection of the best of the best. I use every single product in this list and find each to be a gem. Of course other folks may differ but, hey, this is MY selection ;>)I\'ve downloaded and install AVG Antivirus. It\'s a nice tool and it\'s free. Once I restarted my PC after the installation, AVG immediately detected a virus on my system. The virus is a trojan horse, what ? So someone has messing around my pc .. lucky that it has not been boot up for quite a long time. AVG is light on resources and the download size is only 5MB+. Better check it out.
